wonderful workshop

I have spent the last 3 days teaching ................. a course on free embroidery to a group of women who took to it naturally like the proverbial ducks to water :0)
which is actually very lucky because our studio for the three days was here ..........

so right outside our large window offering perfect light ...........and with no safety net or fencing was this ................

how inspiring is that???????

well heres how
this is what was done by Gittan
these were stitched by GunBritt
this was embroidered by Eva (one of three Evas!)

the second Eva did this

and Eva number 3 stitched this

this piece was embroidered and stitched by Annika

and last but not least this piece was by Margareta

I am so proud of what was completed ...............I had a wonderful time - the weather was glorious - company good - and we all enjoyed ourselves!
Thanks to everyone for a great 3 days .............
I am always amazed at how talented people are on the quiet...........

Can't get any closer to water than that, without actually being in the water.
The ladies have done very well. They must have had a great teacher!

you would have loved it Annica - the setting was fantastic. Fabulous work by all concerned - great sharing with fabrics and threads and lots of laughter .......as well as those concentrating silences

to me - that is what embroidery is all about

Wonderful setting for such wonderful work Sara. They are all lovely, but my favourite must be the grey with spirals and a touch of red.
